Last month, I had to adjust my travel plans last minute, so I checked the spirit airlines flight change policy. It turns out that changes made more than 60 days before travel are free. It costs $69 from 31 to 59 days, and the closer you come, the higher the rate. It was really simple to update my online account in a matter of minutes, but I'm glad I avoided the $119 last-minute fees. Pro tip: make sure you understand the rules before making a reservation.
