2. Confirm Your Entry Eligibility

In India, the usual requirements are:

Completion of Class 12 (or equivalent)

Roughly 65% in English and Maths/Accounts, and 50% in other subjects

If you don’t meet that bar, you still have a pathway: the Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) route. You start with foundation modules and later bridge into ACCA’s main levels.

3. Gather Your Documents

Before hitting “register,” make sure you have:

Scanned copies of your Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

Valid government ID (passport, Aadhaar, etc.)

6. Apply for Exemptions (If Eligible)

If your prior studies overlap with ACCA’s syllabus—like a B.Com, CA Inter, or a finance degree—you may get exemptions from certain papers (particularly in the Applied Knowledge or Applied Skills levels). To request:

Declare your academic background during registration

Upload transcripts, certificates, and syllabus details

ACCA will assess and grant exemption(s), each with a fee

7. Choose Your Study Mode

9. Practice Smartly

Familiarize yourself with the computer-based exam (CBE) format

10. Complete EPSM & PER

The Ethics & Professional Skills Module (EPSM) builds your judgment, ethics, communication, and commercial awareness. It’s essential and can be done online.

The Practical Experience Requirement (PER) involves 36 months of relevant work and achieving 9 performance objectives. Log your experience through ACCA’s portal while you study.

11. Apply for ACCA Membership

Once you’ve passed all required exams, completed EPSM, and fulfilled your PER goals, you can submit your membership application. After approval, you earn the ACCA designation—ready for roles in audit, accounting, consulting, finance, and more.
