Westjet Airline Baggage Allowance Policy

Each guest in a confirmed seat is allowed one free carry-on bag and one personal item, total. Items that do not fit the measuring device or exceed our carry-on baggage allowance will be placed in checked baggage and applicable baggage fees may be charged.
Carry-on baggage: maximum 10 kg (22 lb) with maximum measurements of 53 cm x 23 cm x 38 cm (21 in x 9 in x 15 in)
Personal item: maximum 10 kg (22 lb) with maximum measurements of 41 cm x 15 cm x 33 cm (16 in x 6 in x 13 in)
All carry-on luggage must fit into the measuring device at check-in and be stowed under the seat or in the overhead bin on board the aircraft.
If you are traveling with a baby (under 2 years old with a purchased seat) or a child and you have an approved restraint system (car seat), you can bring one.
