Before my last trip,I almost packed too much without understanding how hard the delta airlines baggage policy can be. I learned that one carry-on and one personal item are free, but the type of ticket you have will decide how many checked baggage you can bring. Are you overweight or oversized? Yes, extra fees. In order to avoid paying at the airport, I ended up taking off a jacket and a pair of shoes. Lesson learned: it saves money and stress to always check the regulations before packing.
