How to Cancel Webroot Subscription on Your Computer

Go to the Webroot website, click Sign in, and sign in to your account.
From the Webroot home page, click Subscriptions. Then, in the Manage column, select Options.
You must turn off automatic renewal to avoid future charges. Enter your keycode on the Webroot website to remove auto-renewal from your subscription preferences.
Complete and submit a refund request form on the Webroot website. You will need to submit the invoice number and the exact dollar amount shown in the invoice total in order to receive a refund. In my testing, Webroot refunded funds to my checking account in just 36 hours.
Choose an alternative antivirus once you have received your refund. Norton is my favorite choice because it detected more malware in my tests than Webroot, plus it has great additional features like a password manager, mobile apps, and parental controls. Bitdefender is another great premium option (with a cloud-based scanner like Webroot), and Malwarebytes is a minimal, low-cost option with a good malware scanner.
