Concrete Slab Foundation Repair vs Pier and Beam: When Is Concrete Leveling the Right Solution?

I'm currently dealing with some foundation issues in my home and I'm trying to figure out the best solution. My house has a concrete slab foundation, and I've noticed some cracks and uneven areas recently. I've heard about concrete slab foundation repair methods and concrete leveling, but I'm also considering whether switching to a pier and beam system might be a better long-term fix.

Has anyone here gone through a similar situation? I'm curious to know:

How effective is concrete leveling for slab foundations with moderate settling?

When would it make more sense to switch to a pier and beam setup?

What are the cost differences and long-term durability between these options?

Any advice, personal experiences, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
