I’m about to publish my first book and keep hearing how crucial book front cover design is for attracting readers. But I’m curious does having a professionally designed front cover actually increase sales and engagement, or is it mostly just for looks? Can a great story succeed without a strong cover, or does the front cover really make or break a reader’s decision? I’d love to hear from authors and readers about their experiences and opinions.
