With some restrictions and costs passengers can modify their flights under Spirit airline flight cancellation policy. Passengers receive a complete refund if they cancel within 24 hours of booking and have seven days or more left before the flight. In addition there is a cancellation fee assessed by Spirit that rises as the departure date approaches. Travel credits which can be used for subsequent flights within a year, are given out as refunds. Spirit's strategy makes it easier for travelers to adjust to changes by striking a balance between price and flexibility.
