CARTAP-GR is a cartap hydrochloride 4 GR granular insecticide from JU Agri Sciences, made for stem borer and leaf folder control in rice. Cartap hydrochloride belongs to the Nereistoxin analogue group and acts through contact, systemic and stomach action, which gives complete protection to the paddy crop.

Stem borers damage rice from inside the stem, weakening the plant and reducing yield. CARTAP-GR is systemic, so it moves into plant tissue and stops larvae from feeding internally. Protection starts from the early crop stages, which helps keep stems strong and the crop productive.

The product controls all insect stages: egg, larva and adult. It is persistent, so it controls pests for a longer period. It also supports insect resistance management and is safe for beneficial insects, which makes it suitable for Integrated Pest Management. CARTAP-GR is compatible with commonly used insecticides and fungicides.
